Chad Shuffield, the newest member of the Swift Team, is quickly becoming one of the team’s most valuable assets. The 23-year-old from Santa Maria is very dedicated to the Team and takes the sport of desert racing quite seriously. When Chad isn’t working at his regular job as a heavy machinery mechanic, you will likely find him at the Swift shop either prepping the race truck or building his own pre-runner. Chad has logged numerous hours racing in the co-driver’s seat, guiding the team’s drivers successfully across the finish line. Chad’s determination and stamina are so strong that it’s not unusual for him to co-drive an entire race without climbing out of the seat.  This up and coming desert-racing prodigy is definitely one to keep an eye out for, as he is destine to become a legendary champion.
